Good fit, but the problem with the PS is that the waist is too big (stretches, needs belt) while the thighs are tiny. I think I have a pair in sz. 30 that there's no way I can get into anymore.
The thing is I actually like aloose waist b/c that means tucked in shirts blouse less vs. tighter top blocks. and they're easier to wear on your hips.
Sorry if i'm derailing this thread too much with jawnz talk.
Right, but the only reason I size up on the waist in pants is so that the thighs fit.
not many jeans that are regarded on this forum come in a 13-14" thigh measurement with a 34" TRUE waist.
Soon enough, I may have to forego jeans all together..I don't know of a single jean that actually fits the criteria I just named.
Quads are measuring 23.5" right now, still fit into the uniqlo 31 T-000 I bought before I started squatting, denim must be pretty stretchy. Wish I could still wear my 27" APC PS, such beautiful fades.
Butler program. You trade in your faded jawnz and get a new at cost ($90 last i went) at the APC store (at least the one in NY).
If anyone's interested, i posted this guide on reddit for general dressing tips for athletic guys. Most SW&D guys know this stuff already but you guys might find it useful.
There is value in being able to move relatively heavy weights quickly over some extended period of time, and the only way to be able to do this is to train it. If the entirety of your training consists of low rep strength work with the occasional run, you are missing out on a large part of the equation.
higher work capacity is basically all I can come up with as a benefit.
dunno if you were talking to me but idgaf about 531 or the like, besides OL training already has a shitload of almost maximal lifts and quite short rest periods.
Graphic since you brought it up I was going to say your RO dunks fit pic looked fine and it works nice because the chunkiness on the bottom ballances out your thighs. That's how I wore my fake RO dunks.
As for jeans I'm wearing a size 31 APC PS that I thought I would grow into but they are already bursting at the thighs / waist. Shit sucks though, It would be so much easier if we never squated or deadlifted again.
I bought a pair of Bills Khakis yesterday in a waist 35. M2 model. Sales person suggested I go pleat if thighs become a concern..but uh..I told him I'm not old enough for pleats, yet. Picking them up after work today, along with my resent pair of MF Gunslinger in a 34. Pics to come of both.
On topic of things, do check my for sale threads, and if anyone wants a pair of Left Field Chinos in a 33 (hemmed to a ~31) I'll sell those too...

I find nothing wrong with pleats in the right context. I actually prefer them. But that's just me!
