I workout three days a week, and each number is for one day. Looking at the information, you can see that I started getting better, but since the 5th day I've doing worse than before I started.
What does this mean? Am I not being careful enough and losing my form? Is this the beginning of the "repair" process for my muscles? Any idea?
This is biceps and triceps - none of my other muscle groups have this problem.
(numbers may not be 100% correct because I don't have my log with me, but they should be very close)
a) Are you always doing the same exercises on these days in the same order (for example - squat, bench, chin ups, bis, tris or whatever). If you aren't going in the same order, your reps will change - what do you think happens to bicep curl strength when its after chinups as compared to before?
b) Is the weight going up once you get to 10 reps? If not you won't get stronger... but you probably won't get weaker either. (of course, 11 reps @ 20lbs compared to 7 reps @ 25 isn't really "weaker".)
c) Broscience: B-curl and T-press are overrated. Do presses and pulls instead. (id est: Bench press works the triceps enough, and bench pull, pull ups, etc work the biceps enough)
