Groin is definitely tweaked. I feel slight discomfort when I run or try to stretch it out. Went to the gym today and focused on upper body work, mostly without issue but could feel a bit of a pull when doing DB presses, presumably from pressing my core/back/groin down into the seat.
Does anyone have any brilliant ideas on how to rehab this injury? It doesnt feel like much more than a nagging pain when stressed, maybe a 3 out of 10 but I fear it could escalate into something worse.
Ice first. Lay on the very edge of your bed and hang your bad leg off the side, using the hang to let it stretch. Ice while doing that. 2x daily.
3x advil/motrin and 2x tylenol (with food if you have a sensitive stomach). 2x daily
Foam roll your entire leg (look up foam roll leg exercises) daily.
DON'T stretch for a few days.
Come check back after that.
