I'm not sure, but I haven't been going past 50g carbs a day but maybe once or twice since starting this (not counting the cheat day). That total includes vegetables, too. My only non-veggie carbs come from the Monster (usually have two of those a day = 12g carbs total), a little bit of natural PB, and whatever few carbs come from the ranch (I added everything up and there's like maybe two carbs per tablespoon).

The base is just:

- 1 cup low fat or FF mayo
- 1/2 cup FF sour cream
- Few dashes of milk if you like (I rarely have milk around, so I usually skip that)

I experiment with different spices and portions, but I'll always throw in at least a teaspoon or two of dill, tablespoon or so of parsley, salt and pepper to taste and maybe some oregano.

Combine all of this in a bowl, whisk, and then dump it in one of those mason jars.

I just made a batch and dropped in a little bit of hotsauce and some bullshit spicy lime seasoning (some Mrs. Dash creation) just to give it some kick.

Yeah, dropped the dead lift weight really low and then built it up again and I changed to sumo which is easier for me and I'm doing front squats which are much harder to mess up.

Saw Limitless last night, great movie. I think I managed to eat one of every item the concession stand sold- among other things, popcorn, soda, reeses pieces, twizlers, soft pretzel w/cheese, hot dog, tornado, mini-doughnuts, white castle cheeseburgers, and a slice of pizza. So yeah, great movie.

I once witnessed a man bring a container of tuna salad into a movie theater. He stunk up the whole place. People had to leave.

Just started doing boxing lessons since last week, and has been awesome. Never did martial arts before, but I am really enjoying myself.

It's definitely physically demanding with the stamina and endurance required that I am not used to with regular weightlifting and resistance training.

Plus with doing a semi 16/8 IF split has slowly carved away at my abs and is looking pretty sick, although I am having trouble eating enough to gain/maintain weight.

Check this gem I just thought of:

1) Generally the strongest people, esp. amateurs are geared up.
2) Gear can deplete your sex drive in a big way.

therefore

3) These guys are actually really strong because they aren't putting up with a lot of bullshit and drama from women.

flawless, I know.

My sentiments on that can be best described thru a BB analogue of kunk's "party in Ed Hardy/stroke ******* in Rick" My girl knows my nuts too well for me to get away with that **** Plus much of the fun of lifting, for me anyway, comes from all the summertime double takes And u can get decently strong w/o gear... I think gear is only warranted once u've reached ur limits ------------------------------------- First band practice today, no time for dinner, so I'm fcking warrior dieting it up. Kopt 2 3pc dark meals from Boston Market, 1 w/sides, one w/o. 1100 cals, 100g protein

Gonna have a shake + some nuts/fruits after and call it quits... Hopefully I'll feel good today as this is how most days in my cut will be

Leangains/IF crew....

Are any of you having trouble meeting your calories on your lifting days? Today my fast ended at 3 and by 4pm I ate:

8oz of extralean ground turkey
80g of oatmeal with 1 cup of 2% milk
100g of broccoli

About 20 mins ago I finished:

80g of oatmeal
1cup of milk mixed with 1 scoop of ON chocolate whey
1 cup of 1% milkfat cottage cheese

The grand total for today is:
1,521 calories
18.3g fat
190.9g carbs
151.3g protein

I am so full at this point and still have to eat 1000 more calories by 11pm when I start my fast. Holy crap. The obvious answer would be to add some more fat, but the diet requires low fat and high carbs on lifting days, and low carbs and high fat on off days...
