Toasty, if a men's clothing forum is your only source of info for lifting advice, youredoingitwrong.jpg

Anyway, gonna find out if my hip is still fucked up or not in about 30min. Wish me luck.

-Some hipster guy that was training his surprisingly hot girlfriend. He had her doing those bosu ball squat curls or whatever you call them and a bunch of other ridiculous exercises.
-Some huge guy came in, bench pressed 225 or so for a few reps screaming at the top of his lungs, then left.
-Some bro curling way more than he should have doing half curl/half pelvic thrust.
I guess the last three really aren't that unusual, but chins in the squat rack wtf? The best part is that there is a chinup/pullup bar literally 10 feet away that was completely unoccupied.

this always makes me lol. show up, max out for a few and leave

Were they at least full ROM bench presses?

Maybe it was just his intensity day?

Large-buff guy going for a 3 or 4 rep max @ 225?

HAHA! I fuckin love you guys. Anytime anyone posts a gym story of some bro doing some asinine shit, someone has a logical explanation for it even though we all know in our hearts that 95% of the time that's not what's happening.

In other news, skipped bb squats and deadlifts again but tried bodyweight squats for the first time in like 10 days. First set of 20 didn't feel good. Second set felt better. Third set even better. Fourth set, I was pushing my luck. I think I'll hold out on calling the doc for now (any suggestions on what to do in the meantime?).

what happened with your hip/back bacon? did you see a doctor yet or have you been asking for help here??

i would suggest going back several pages and doing all this stretching exercises for the hip then try again slowly.

i have shoulder problems sometimes and i just take it easy or go back and stretch in between sets before starting up again.

That's very impressive how he managed to maintain control of that bar. That demonstrates nicely that the snatch is all about bar positioning.. as you see, once he had that bar under control he had no problems coming out of the hole.

ha yeah i'm soliciting health advice from a men's clothing forum. anyway, pain in one of my hips that got worse the heavier my squats got. unsure if it is just muscle or muscle and joint issue. no doctor yet. gave it more than a week where i didn't engage it at all. did joe d's agile 8 on most of my off days but none of those movements would aggravate my hip like doing a plain ol bodyweight squat.

second pull was so damn slow though. I can't help but think that would have be so much easier had he popped his hips more.

in other news, david bedzhanyan is a fucking beast. I wish i was russian.

Indeed. I didn't really comment on that as I feel that this is a case of "I snatch 100+ kg more than you, your argument about my technique is invalid". The WR was beastly.
