My aunt's flight from Seattle, scheduled for tonight, was canceled. The airlines are apparently canceling all flights to the east coast. Hers is to Albany, which is not getting hit by the storm.

Here outside of Philly it's somewhere between 1.5 and 2 feet, and the fucking storm still is only about 2/3 of the way done.

Fuck me, I haven't seen this much snow since I was living in Cambridge.

For the sake of travel and such it's nice to have been spared this time, although the snow does look pretty in the pics I've seen.

It rained here for two days almost to biblical proportions.. ok maybe not that much, but my lake went up at least 1 1/2 feet in about 36 hours. It recessed back down now and today was in the low 60's, tomorrow should be about the same...
