I disagree. I liked it but didn't love it. I'd definitely go back (especially considering the porterhouse for two comes out to about $42.50 a person -- not bad compared to a lot of other upscale places), but would probably rate it below craftsteak, BLT Prime and Jacobs & Co. in Toronto. And re: the comment about extremely hot broilers -- how else do you cook a steak very rare without one? I would think 2 minutes in a 1000-degree broiler is better than 5 minutes in a 600-degree one.
