Junghans Max Bill Wall Clock

Anyone know detials on the movement of the Max Bill Wall Cock made in Germany BY Junghans?

Listings suggest "batteries" are required -- which may make it a simple quartz movement (which would be annoying given the style and cost of the clock).

Other references suggest it has a radio controlled movement (the company makes other radio clocks that keep perfect time).

Others still suggest the clock has a mechanical movement.

I'm mystified and a preliminary Google search leaves me wondering still.

Also, any leads on where to get a good price on this clock. All retailers seem to have the identical price. The Junghansusa website seems sorely out of date.

I have the wall clock and it has a quartz movement. I wish I could recommend a place that offered a good price.

By this do you mean the standard insanely inexpensive quartz movement that takes 1 AA battery and basically costs nothing?

If so, I would be *astounded.* If not, what make it different from that standard issue quartz movement?

nada - just a great piece of design.
Unlike the Chronoscope line of watches....truly mechanical, and fabulous on the wrist - really nice line of stuff.

I must still be a little drunk, since I was gonna comment on this. I won't
