Any bodybuilders that cycle?

Have been thinking of getting into cycling to shed the love handles that I somehow can't get rid of with weights. Any bodybuilders here that cycle or have at least tried to? Pros & Cons?

cons:
increasingly harder to get quality stuff
effect on lipid profile
quickens baldness if you are prone to it

pros: everything else

uh lifting doesn't get rid of love handles...it actually makes them bigger. stop working your abs and obliques - that will keep the love handles from growing. go harder on your lats, upper back and shoulder to increase your v-taper - that will make your love handles look smaller than they actually are.

I was going to come and crack a joke based on whatever the OP didn't mean by cycle, but it seems to have already happened by accident. Can't compete with that.

i use to powerlift but i tried cycling and stopped powerlifting and just did HIT training ..watch out it's addictive.(i am still talking about bicycling) You can drop alot of weight doing sprints on the bike, uphill/downhill training and the like. I think i was 200 when i started now i am about 145 give or take 5 lbs

i disagree on the this one point because if you do High Intensity Training it will help you from losing muscle while cycling, make you strong and more defined.

I commute by bike to my office (10 mi each way) 3 to 4 times a week. It's great for slimming down, and boosting cardio but I recommend combining with strength training. The big deficits in cycling are with core strength and general body flexibility. I used to train for bulk and strength, but now I work at reps and exercises to maintain flexibility and endurance.
