If similar to the 3A, I would go TTS in shirt sizing or one up. That's my experience with the 2 3As I got. For example, my 52 3A is great. And that would be one up from shirt size 50 (25" p2p). Better still I would go for a size 50 since alot of my shirts are 48 (24" p2p).


Ziss was awesome. But not sure what the gripe was with the retailer. IME, I got my sweaters, they were true to measurements, one turned out too big (way too fucking big) but that was entirely my fault, and I paid not a penny in customs fees. I couldn't ask for more. If they carry my size in the 6A, I'll order from them again.

Thanks, guys. The order largely went as planned. However, Inverallan never made the last five or six 3As. The small retailer I was working with was not the most responsive when it came to solving the problem, but, as far as I understand, those who did not receive their 3A were offered a knit from their upcoming stock. So, everything seems to be settled, and I hope that puts the issue to rest.

At present, it seems as though the best, most reasonably priced places to pick up an Inverallan knit is The Mandon Store and End. As CWP said, The Mandon Store will have the 6A in navy, clerical grey, loden, and corvette. It sounded like they might get more in after Christmas, but I am not sure. End usually has a nice selection, but I don't know what they are receiving yet.

I don't know about all of you, but I am looking forward to wearing my two knits once it really gets cold here...

I've got a 3A in Oatmeal, size 40, for sale in my signature, if anyone's interested. Purchased from End last year, still new with tags.

Yeah, this is what I was referring to. I realise most people's experiences were flawless and it all got sorted out in the end, so I didn't want to bring up the name of the retailer. It hasn't stopped me from buying from them again, although it would probably stop me from getting involved in another Inverallan preorder.

The 3As for me fit well in the chest but are a bit short in the body and arms to start with. They are stretching out nicely. I have a 1A in the size up and the lengths are perfect on that but the body is a bit generous - which works OK for that particular jumper.

There are some nice looking hats and scarves at End.

Allevol still stocks the cotton indigo versions they had made. I can only imagine the indigo rubbing off all over shirts, though...
