Inverallan - Page 12

Anyone know where to get custom knits made now that Inverallan's gone? I mean completely custom - I show them a pic of what I want and provide measurements rather than chosing from a list of styles.

Razele is supposed to have a knitter, but he's not letting him/her out of the bag yet...

Might give them a try. Not sure if she will do a custom style, but she does accomodate mtm (more or less). I got a sample of the yarns she uses - nice stuff, all Donegal, I believe: natural undyed, donegal silk tweed, and heather blends.

There seem to be a few nice Inverallan pieces popping up on eBay at the moment. I've got my eye on a few of them!

FYI: Just received an email from The Mandon Store. They're getting in (or may already have) shawl collar cardigans (Model 6A) in a range of colors.

Why woudn´t we make a new group order. Of 6a this time. I´d be in.

How can I get my hands on one? Do I have to preorder? Also how does he 6A fit? baggy?

The group order was a tremendous ordeal, and I won't do it again. I will post photos of what they got tomorrow.

Looks like the 6A colours are navy, clerical grey, a dark green ("loden"?) and a lighter blue ("corvette"??).

Dunno about the fit but I would guess like the 3A, lots of comments on that in the Inverallan group order thread. Anyway, this is stock coming in shortly so just drop them a line as sjmin said.

Zissou went above and beyond with the Inverallan order. Seems like Inverallan are not the easiest outfit for anyone to work with (they were supposed to be closing down last year?) and to be honest I wasn't overly impressed with the retailer involved either, who shall remain nameless out of respect for Ziss' efforts.
