Id be interested in reading a transcript of the navi dialogue as some words sounded vry close to same one in arabic to me.

Random stupid quote that made me laugh :

Johnny Knoxville: Jackass 3D is going to take the same 3D technology James Cameron used in AVATAR and stick it up Steve O's butt

For your edification: http://www.mods.org/IMAX/index.html I liked the movie, not JC's best work, but still a sight to see. The movie only reiterated my fortitude in the ideas of environmentalism and that EVERY being on earth has a right to exist and that the biblical concept of human domain on earth is simply an ignorant concept created by people over 5000 years ago that didn't know any better.

T1
T2
True Lies
Alien 2

All well written, good screenplays.

Titanic = King of the World.

Screenplay fail. No one can tell him.

Avatar's writing is actually juvenile. Maybe, the point$.

But it's not an hour and half away (centralizing the UM campus in Coral Gables as a reference point), maybe an hour tops, if you hit crazy traffic.

saw it in regular and 3d

such an epic movie, pretty much keeps you gripped for the whole 2 hours and 42 minutes

it seems to be based a lot off of The Mission, not sure if anyone has said that

Although The Mission had better actors and better music (Ennio Morricone )

I live about half an hour south of campus (at least for the winter break) so it turns out to be an hour and a half. Might just pick the nicest theater in the area since i'm not really that exited about the movie. If i really like it i'll make the trip.

saw it in 3D in IMAX today. it was great entertainment, i would say it lived up to the hype. if you live 1 hour and half away from an IMAX, the movie wont blow you mind away most likely, but it wont disappoint you.

I just watched it. It was a bit preachy and the writing wasn't great but the special effects and sets where amazing. It was long but my daughter sat through the hold thing spellbound.
I liked it.

I watched the movie this evening and really enjoyed it, sure the plot is thin and the dialogue formulaic but it wasn't as corny as expected at the visuals are phenomenal. I'm tempted to now see it in 3D. 8/10

Had few moments where I would be at the ridiculous melodramatic parts, but it was overall a very good beautiful film. It had my whole attention for such a long duration, definitely no disappointment.

I think movies like these are the sartorial equivalent of wearing Under Armour, Kevlar, and a utility belt.

Not unless they validate one's own personal ethos....
