Good Time to Buy a TV?

If there are any experts on good deals here I'd appreciate some input.

I am moving into an apartment this coming January and am wondering if there are good specials and markdowns on televisions after the new year / xmas?

not really. After xmas you have the superbowl, this febuary you have the olympics, then you move into march madness, april starts baseball, june and july are NHL and NBA playoffs, august and september start college football, world series, etc...


I used to work for a major electronics retailer, and I remember that there is never a 'slow' time. I would try to pick something up this weekend (usually good deals before xmas/end of year).
