People are really questioning the deal that $800 kiton shoes represent??

And Moo, shell Kitons retail at about double the OP's quoted prices. You aren't going to pay four figures for shoes.

If the OP is patient, he can get closer to $1000 per pair on eBay. At $750 he is doing the forum a favor.

Says who?

I just spotted this pair on ebay. Very very nice brown color (4th picture).

Well, I'm in ... if you can find suits in a 40S and shoes in a 10.5US, of course. Just to be safe, I'm going to head over to Neiman's now to check sizing so I'm ready when this deal happens.

$750 is an absolute steal.

Likewise. And you don't know me, ed. So save it.

Are these seriously worth 4 figures? I am thinking no.

They are the only shoe Daniel Moynihan wore.

They are good shoes. I think Kiton makes a couple different quality lines though. I saw a pair at Louis that was a standard lace-up that wasn't nearly as nice as most of the other Kiton shoes I've seen, including some at Louis. It had a different color sock, IIRC, and was marked down from $1,600 something to around $400.

$400 is like 720 in USDA food stamps.

Would love a pair of brown wintips or semi brogues in US11.

If you bring in classic designs in sensible sizes (more quantities in the 9-11 size ranges), I think these babies will sell, especially in variants of brown shades rather than black.
