Rarely have I seen such intesity in an athlete as is demonstrated daily by Pudge. It is almost inspirational.

Slowly, I have come to appreciate the confidence and poise of all the Tiger rookies. They don't act or play like rookies. (i.e. Brent Clevlen et. al.)

I'm looking forward to being at tonight's game with the Twins.

10 games up in our division with 50 left to play. We are almost guaranteed a winning season now. Not matter what happensthe rest of the season I am enjoying it while it lasts. I have been goign to game since I can remember and kept going during our 119 loss season which makes this summer feel so good.

Chicago 5, Tigers nothing! Damn!

Notice the blue pinstripe suits worn by announcers Rod and Mario?

Yes, there IS a God. The Tigers beat the Red Sox on Monday. Now, if we can do it again tonight, I promise to be a REAL believer!

What a great game last night. I don't care if the Chisox win as long as we win. Each game we win means one game less to try and catch us. 118 games down and 44 to go. I think we will hang on!!!

How funny was it when the red hot white sox got the lumber laid to them by KC yesterday. I never thought theyd split that series. I gotta tell you, considering that division, Detroit's a little bit of a paper tiger. No one on that team really scares me, pitching or position players.

The gambler had a good game tonight.

41 more games to go with a 6.5 game lead. By the end of this weekend, we could be assured of our first winning season since 1993. I am loving it!!!

Monday. Tigers win, 7-1. Send those White Sox a message!

Sweeping the ChiSOx would be a huge message to them. We are lucky our last 2 weeks of the season are against easier teams than they have to play.

On Baseball Tonight, Tino Martinez made a prediction that the Tigers would win the division. This was, back in June. I think that the Tigers are the team to beat, in order to win the pennant.

I believe we will win the division. Each game played is one game less the Sox have to try and catch us. I understand there is plenty of time for them, but I just have a feeling this season. I don't know how we would do in the playoffs and don't really care as long as we make it.

What a great game last night. It was our 14th shutout of the season and that leads all of MLB. A 7.5 game lead with 36 left to play. If we can sweep this series, I believe the Sox will be shocked and we will win the division. Bless you boys!! This is the year!!!

The White Sox are warming up . . . the home stretch, could be mighty interesting.

We've been winning on the coat tails of great pitching. And many of our losses have not been due to poor pitching. We have no offense. If the Tiger bats can come alive just a little bit, we will be OK. Thank goodness we are home for awhile playing some of the weaker teams.
