infertility - Page 2

you misundertand me. i was not drawing a direct link between the radio ads and infertility going up. the fact that i personally know many couples who have done this, plus the fact that i heard an ad on the radio, led me to ask the question here. then, laguy posted a response giving the reasons for the increase in infertility. i quoted his reasons for the increase and deduced that my hypothesis was correct. this isn't scientific and i know we don't have a true answer yet.

I suspect if you are in medical school and comtemplating what field you are interested in and include your expected earnings, fertility might be high up there for the $$.

Just my economist's point of view.

Yes.

Let's also mention surrogacy, here. Prepare to start from zero with a new mouth to feed.

we have two seperate couples of friends where the woman is in her mid forties or higher, and family income is probrably in the $200K range. they have dropped maybe $20K on various treatments, without even getting into anything involving a knife. they might end up spending $100K per baby by the end.
