I'm jealous of all the people in this thread, because to have a plan A, B, or C that means you know for sure what you want to do with your life. I just sort of do it... and it just keeps going further in one direction.

Nothing wrong with that either, unless it means that your day job just became your real job.

I put all my plans on hold last year. So far, it's enabled me to save quite a lot of money and travel internationally. I'm far happier than I was before. There's no virtue in sticking with something you don't enjoy unless the reward is something you know that you need in life.
