So Mauro made me a one-off knicker sweatsuit for fall. Not going to lie, it's pretty awesome. The fit is spot on. The jersey cotton is more substantial than t-shirt cotton but thiner than say a EG sweatshirt. Such a great transition fabric that fits better under slim outerwear than my Left Field crew-neck. The details on the knickers are wonderful as well: rear pockets and side slant pockets with a coin pocket. I'm loving these for Sunday morning market shopping and running quick errands or just lounging and watching EPL games.
Pics, hope you enjoy.
I'm sure Mauro can list any details I may have missed.
Wolf vs. Goat would like to invite you to their Spring '11 fashion show at Tabaq on U St. in NW DC! Please click here for more info and RSVP by tomorrow for priority seating! http://bit.ly/aXgHCC
Nice pics Justin.
The fabric is japanes looped french terry. We cleaned the inside of the pant so that it looks like a tailored trouser.
The fabric is soft and ymmy and well as strudy.
Best,
Mauro
anyone interested in attending the show on the 23rd needs to rsvp for seating by tomorrow.
Sorry.
If someone were to describe this to me, I would imagine it to be horrific. Seeing it in the lookbook and your pics though, it looks pretty damn good.
Agreed. Sounds questionable to me but looks very cool.
On a separate topic, I was finally able to try on the some WvG oxfords and they are indeed as awesome as everyone said. Mauro - Are you planning any more colors for fall?
I have flannel ( different from everyone else) and some more printed shirts.
I will have different bottoms and knit pieces.
The funniest thing is that the "sweat knickers" are everyone favorite thing.
The fit and feel ....love them. I wear them all the time.
I will have fall colors coming out soonn.
lot of changes in the WvG world going on...all good!

It seems that you found something here - it's the type of piece that catches people totally off guard; it's an unexpected cut. yet at the same time it looks great and is totally wearable.
