is the lawn print coming out in a spread collar? I kinda want to wait for that, have enough button downs already.

It's for FW13, I believe. So probably not until next fall/late-late summer.

do any taller guys (6' 4") have pictures of the fit on an XL/XXL?  I'm interested in seeing the length.  Thanks

I'm 6'4, but I'm all leg, and have a smaller torso -- I'm also skinny...I wear a large BD: http://www.styleforum.net/t/155670/lightbox/post/6021590/id/624140

Length down my torso is fine, sleeve length is probably an inch too short, but I roll my sleeves a lot.

I think you would be fine with an XL/XXL, unless your torso length is enormous.

edit: to be precise, my front (from collarbone to waist) ~22.5 inches, and the shirts have plenty of room for me length wise. Just measure your back length or the back length of a shirt you have that fits well length wise, and then compare it to the size chart.

Guys - email Mauro and let him know if you're looking for something specific with longer sleeves. I'm "only" 6'1", but the sleeves on a medium BD are a hair short for me. He doesn't have a lot of shirts made in "monkey-armed" cuts, so check with him if you see a fabric you want.

Thanks for the info.  I bought a used L BD on here and the chest is definately too small anyways (sleeves are short too).  It looks like sizing up would solve the body/sleeve length problem hopefully.  Not too big on the darting on the back too so I might try an AD shirt.

So he makes some shirts with longer sleeves on purpose or are some just cut longer by mistake?  I've already been in touch with Mauro; probably give him an email tomorrow to see what we can do.

Thanks everyone for the input,

Chris

bear in mind it also takes 5 minutes to let the vent out on a BD shirt, freeing up about an inch and a half of fabric.

Mauro makes limited amounts of monkey arm shirts occasionally.

CPaul -- do you know what season the shirt was from? The first shirt I got from WvG was from SS12, and the sleeves were too too short. But the shirts I got from FW12 have been better...maybe short by 0.5 inches.

I say that because you might be able to just go with a AD Large rather than having to size up that much...I don't know what your body measurements are though.
