With our forces combined, we will still only be half of RKD, now officially known as RKL.

My henley's came today. They look and feel really good but they don't fit!
If anyone is planning on picking them up, let me reiterate what everyone has been saying: they are fucking slim!!!

I received Larges and definitely need XL's.

If I can't exchange them and you're planning to buy Larges, hit me up. I bought them at 60% off. Wine, Navy and Charcoal. smile.gif

I picked up my shit from Mauro today, you should definitely size up two on the henley's but they're really great I didn't want to take them off. But if you didn't you should really pick up the t-shirts I don't think I've ever felt anything as soft as those shirts...

do you have the makeup set in stone yet? would love to see the next run of knits have a more substantial collar

Ya, I would honestly size up 2 even if your looking for a slim fit.

substantial color?? I am not sure what you mean by that. Every single retailer I sell to and my showroom discourages color. When I do make louder colors no one buys them. Navy, Charcoal, Black that's what everyone buys. It's sad. I have tons of the lavender cashmere and pine green left.
Amazing colors. I still have some plum, and wine left but in XS, XL , or XXL.
Color is a very tricky thing. I went out on a limb with the over dyes and the darker ones sell first or white. I still have plenty of lavender and eggplant.
I personally think color scares most men and my stuff is expensive. Those are two double whammies. I think they rationalize their purchases and darker staple colors trump color almost every time. If the brand was bigger and had more clout it would be easier to sell color.
I have a super rad theme for Fall'13 so it will be interesting what kind of response I get.

Spring'13 was loaded with color and it turned off a lot of people because they didn't understand the line. They were looking for basics Khaki, Navy, Brown, and Olive greens.
I will always have a couple pop colors but I am leaning more towards earth tones and darker colors for fall'13.

As far as the Henley's go they do run slim. I you have a chest or broad back go up two. If you are a stick you can get away easily with sizing up.
My intern is a 34C and she looks damn good in an XS. So if you would be so kind suggest to your lady friends the XS and Small. They will look great in them and you will have something to look at.

Best,

Mauro

interesting to hear about how shops run their buys, but... yes, i meant the collar. like, the neck thingy. a thicker-ribbed one would be up my alley:

for the record, i ordered the Pine Green during black friday. très exquisite inlove.gif by far the best color, surprised you have some laying around?
why the heck do shops order black sweaters, anyway? so boring

Hey Mauro, any news on when the salt-n-peppa knicker sweats will be restocked in medium? I want a pair so bad but they are out of stock :(

^^I have one pair of medium left shot me an email to mauro@wolfvsgoat.com and I will send them out your way. All sealed up and everything.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAA!! I am so retarded he did say collar. I will work on a beefy COLLAR for Fall' 13. I am doing the same sweater in different colors because the wool did so well and they will have a beefier collar and cuff.

I honestly think people have been snowed or simply don't have a good understanding of quality knits and cashmere is so fucking expensive. That's why I think people didn't jump on the cashmere like the wool.
My wool sweaters are crazy nice and soft, why spend on cashmere when you have a solid wool sweater at a fraction of the price. I will put the cashmere sweaters on sale again at 50%.
Cashmere is rough because people like J.Crew and others sell a descent sweater for a lot cheaper.
The reason is and is simple-
A. Volume
B. Weight of the sweater ( my sweater is much heavier than most)
C.Made in the China ( my is made in the USA)
D.Wash process used
E.Construction ( They use full fashion and I use whole garment) Both are methods have the pros and cons.

As for COLOR not COLLAR , I made my point.

TOTE HOLDERS, PLEASE BE EXPECTING A NEW NEWSLETTER THIS WEEK.

I also received my new 120's 2 ply pinpoint shirts in a spread collar and button down collar, not color. They come in white and ox ford blue. 3 people who visited me walked away with one. The 4th had monkey arms so the shirt didn't fit.

Best,

Mauro
