difference between before/after dinner shirts?

Gingham BD--love this fabric. It may be a touch too long for me to wear untucked.

^^ I disagree. I would play it by the event. Hang with the guys drinking beers untucked. On the beach with linen pants and sandels untucked.. WIth a blazer and trouser tuck that shit in.

Kook-
BD is slim as fuck with darts in the back. Slim shoulder slim chest, high armholes, slim waist and hips

AD- Slim shoulds, slim chest ( a little more the BD for movement) more forgiving waist and hips.
* this is still a slim shirt

Thank you--that's the feedback I was looking for.

Safe to iron or will that reduce the texture? Trying to avoid the dryer as it's on the short side of perfect right now.

for general xs

what are the measurements of
- pit to pit
- side to side
- waist (bottom hem length)
- collar to hem down buttons
- collar to hem down spine
- pit to end of sleeve
^^ here is the correct terms and measurements you asked for.

Your waist is where your belly button is at. Your hips are closest to the hem.
Your tail length is measured from your shoulder seam were it meets the collar band and goes down to the hem in the front of the shirt.
Your arm length should be center back to end of shoulder and should to end of cuff which should stop and your wrist knuckle.
Your last two measurements are for measuring a suit coat or blazer.

Before Dinner-
Pit to pit for an xs - 19
Should or yoke - 16
tail lenght-26.25
sleeve length- 24 inches from should to cuff or 32 inches from center back
waist-17.25
Hip-17.50

I am making more sno-cone in BD. I have enough to make 20 shirts not including MTM. After that no more fabric. I will also be making a run of the Funfetti. I have a lot more of that fabric then I thought.

So any tote holders that missed out hit me up and non-tote holders here is your chance to pick up a shirt if you want.

Best,

Mauro

Got my AD today in the mail! Everything looks and fits great, but the sleeves are a couple of inches too short for my stretch armstrong arms.  Should I size up from a XL to an XXL, or go MTM?
