Got my chinos today (lighting fast shipping to Canada). My impressions; Pros: - Great fitting top block, not too tight but not too loose (no diaper ass, which I usually get from chinos). - Nice material, I find a lot of chinos are either too thin or too 'dressy' when it comes to the material. These are nice and sturdy and I like the look of the fabric (it will work perfect for me, as I'll be wearing these very casually like I wear denim). A++++ on the fabric. - Construction is top notch, 'nuff said there. - I like the buttons on the pack pockets, not a big thing but I like it. - Colours are great, I was a little iffy on the espresso when I was told it had some red in it...but it looks fantastic (as does the olive). It's a deep deep brown which is just beautiful. Areas for Improvement (minor nit-picky stuff): - I'd like to see a slight taper and longer inseam so I can double-cuff (purists hate it, but I like double-cuffing chinos). - I like a button fly instead of a zipper. Not a deal breaker, but buttons are soooooo much better then zippers.

- You need more colours (like a deep British khaki) so I can buy more chinos. All in all, I love these. I would certainly (and likely will) buy more chinos down the road. And WvG customer service is A+. Mauro seems like a great dude who I'd be happy to hoist some beers with some time. PS Mauro...when are you going to start making jeans?
