The short sleeve buttondown has definitely grown on me and I've loved a lot of prints WvG has used for them, but I'd rather just buy a long-sleeve shirt and roll up the sleeves. It's a similar look but I can still get wear when it's cooler. As a grad student with limited funds, that's appealing to me.

I agree with that, that's why I prefer ss buttondowns that have distinctly summery patterns (the wvg tropical or aloha prints, for emample). I probably wouldn't wear a long-sleeved shirt with pineapples all over it in the colder seasons, but in the summer with short sleeves it's just such a killer look.

Sno cone shirts was basically a 4 season shirts for me. Color and texture made it an all year rounder. We need a rerun please Maurooo

agreed. with SS you can go a bit more flashy/extreme in the patterns

I'm not into short sleeves either but I'm also generally not into crazy prints. I can see how it works for those sorts of prints though. I'm sure you'll convince me to try one out soon enough Mauro.

So I only have two of the new(er) short sleeve t's - slate gray and black. Wearing the black today for the first time, I've noticed it is noticeably larger than the gray (slimmest) and older long sleeve v-necks I have. Except for the shoulders, almost feels like the small is a medium. Since the care tag was completely blacked out, it seems the t's are cut and sewn before dyeing. Does the black dyeing process just yield less shrinkage overall compared to other colors? How are other people's colors comparatively? Wanna try and gauge if I should size down on the upcoming t's (hopefully scoop necks soon?).

During the previous round of tees I bought a navy and a khaki short sleeves, and the khaki was noticeably larger and fit much differently.  I have 3 from this round coming tomorrow or the next day so I could look for variations among those ones.

I got the black and olive and didn't notice much difference between them

I think you'd be surprised at how much cooler you feel without a bunch of fabric bunched on your elbow/bicep.

Yep, it's a sheer shirt. Don't be afraid to show some chest.

Just checking, but how much are the over dye oxfords (with the rewards program)? The new chinos are $110 with rewards, correct?
