mauro, are there any plans on restocking basics like OCBD's?

Heh - Just realized all the guys wearing suits on the site have their bottom button done. Been wondering why those pics looked a bit funny for the longest time.

He recently put out a poll for colors for a new run of OCBDs. He posted somewhere in the thread about the timeline for producing them I believe.

Pretty much, knowing myself I would think the end of March EVERYTHING plus more prints will drop.

I am wearing a pair of the chino's now and I can 150% honestly say ( everyone knows how hard I am on myself ) these are the best chino's to date. I think the fit is dead on and the construction surpasses any chino in the $175.00 to $275.00 market.
I am pretty sure the chinos will retail for around $220.00 . If you a rewards member you are getting a solid made in America sanded duck canvas garment dyed chino for $110.00. The factory I use for my chinos and shorts also make Unis, Band of Outsiders, and The Stronghold.
I have finally figured out the perfect pocket ( to me) and have added a couple touches that I use on my hand sewn trousers. I am stoked about these damn things. I will take pictures of them on Monday when the photographer comes over. The chinos with the oxfords and tees are going to hurt a lot of peoples wallets! Thank god for the reward program!!!

Same sizing so not especially new fit info, bit fwiw this is the Large BD monkey arms pink oxford. I'm about 6'1, 185, normally wear a 36 sleeve in dress shirts, 40L sportcoat or suit with sleeves tailored to about 25.5" or 25.75". Excuse the wrinkles, this is straight out of the mailer.

Price drop on the Lounge Pant 2.0 and Marled Black Hoodie. Now $125 and $100 for rewards members, respectively.

Dang, Medium marled black hoodies are sold out.  Is there gonna be a re-stock on that bad boy Mauro?

I have tons of them ( mediums) and every size. I am afraid I made to many because I thought this is what you guys wanted. The lounge pant, knickers, and hoodie were incredibly expensive to make.
Custom fabric of that quality is expensive. I understand the look might not be for everyone but I am hoping people understand that the fabric I use isn't cheap. I really wonder if it was the design of the price. I hope people are buying my things because of the value and quality of the fabric, fit, and construction not just because it's 50.00 to 100.00 cheaper than my competition.
I am really went out on a limb this month. I made 300 chinos ( wearing a pair now ) , 650 over dyed oxfords , and 500 tees. That should be more than enough for every rewards member. I am really hoping everyone likes everything. The 2.0 collection is extremely solid and I believe everyone who has bought them loves them. I could be wrong but it seems I am getting a conflicted message and it's scary to me as a small designer. I made a more aggressive piece as requested, something really special and unique and the interest is poor. It makes me really wonder how I should grow the collection. It seems to me playing it safe is the smart choice sticking to basic button downs and tees. My sweaters sold ok but the sweaters are beyond expensive to make so if I don't get a solid sell through I lose money because of the rewards program. My knits are probably some do the best knits made in the USA in terms of construction and yarn.
I am beginning to wonder if the crowd here ( street wear and denim) is shifting because hoodies, sweats, and sweaters should be crushing it.
I would like some honest feedback from my rewards members. I know I still need about 450 more members to get me in a very safe spot so without positive feed back I will go back to making very small runs which piss people off but at least I know I am not sitting on product. At the end of the day I am a small business and I need to do what I need to do to keep the 600+ supporters happy and me in the black. It's hard work being so small. I do appreciate the support and refuse to make cheaper garments. The whole point of the program was so the reward members can get a product better or on par with my competition.
I am not bitching just putting it out there so I can get a read on what people really want.

Damn it, I just bought the hoodie and lounge pants within the past few weeks @ the old prices. At these discounted prices they are no-brainers. I love them both and have been practically living in them these past few days but the zippers on both are sticking a bit, is anyone else having problems with them?

I didn't buy the hoodie because of the design. The black trim around the neck and sides, tall ribbing, and wvg tag on hood (to a lesser extent, a seam ripper would fix this one) put me off enough not to buy it. Just my personal taste, so you can't and shouldn't try to please everyone there smile.gif

Fit and consistency trump all else. Honestly, I think you get hung up on construction/quality too much. It drives up the price for things that I don't really care about. I want good quality, but there's a point of diminishing returns where I'd rather just pay less for something good enough. Fits well, looks good, made at least pretty well -- I'm happy.

Your t-shirts are great, will buy more. Over dyed shirts, great again, almost all my button ups are WvG now, will buy more. How much are the new chinos? The pair currently on your website has a retail of 385, and honestly, even the loyalty price is too much for me for what's essentially just cotton khaki chinos where the only thing that differentiates them from everything else is construction techniques, that again don't really matter to me. In general though, I don't buy your pants because I don't know what I'm getting, and for the price I have to be sure. It seems like the fit changes between every single model and I don't feel like paying two way shipping each time just to find out. Epaulet is able to command their prices because the fits are dialed in, they're not changing between each iteration of the item so people know what they're getting, and they use interesting fabrics.

Which piece are you referring to?

Also, if you want to attract the SW&D crowd, low-waisted trousers with slight drop crotch, roomy thighs, and aggressive taper, please and thank you devil.gif
