I dont have the newer belstaff but i have tried it on. it is much slimmer, in fact smaller all around. the shoulders were too narrow for me and the arms are far more trim. I'd be hard pressed to get one on over a sweater. My Barbour fits perfectly for me but i have a pretty large frame.

Has anyone tried/ own the childrens size XXL beaufort? Seems like, except the slightly shorter sleeves it is comparable in length to a bedale. How is(n't) it different from the big boy version?

The Belstaff Roadmaster is pretty slim and short while the Trialmaster is a bit more roomy and longer.

The standard Barbour International feels similar to a Trialmaster.

I had no idea that an Italian company now owns Belstaff.

I think you have the roadmaster and trialmaster confused. The Roadmaster is the longer jacket.

I have the roadmaster in a M and find it pretty baggy in the waist. I'm a 40R jacket size and need to cinch the belt in the back, probably just need to get it altered soon. Shoudlers and arm holes are good though.
