Not sure where to ask this: What kind of hair brush straightens hair?

Odd question, but what shape of hair brush is best for me: I have wavy hair, but I like to minimize the waviness and have it be as straight as possible.

I use a round brush right now, should I switch to a flat brush? I picture round brushes just making hair curlier. Thanks!

i use a flat square brush, and that seems to work well.

I just use an oval military brush and conditioner on a regular basis...

I know what you're talking about, but I don't know what it's called.
