BD-Live features: Does anyone use them?

I haven't bothered to use the BD-Live "features" on a single one of my blu-rays. They all seem totally pointless. Does anyone bother to use them or will the studios eventually stop wasting money on their inclusion?

they'll stop wasting money, but they'll continue to keep the prices of BD disc's high. Look at CD's, I understand 5-10 years of high consumer costs for the reseearch but 30 years????? It probably costs like .05 cents to make a CD, then they wonder why no one is buying them.

To be clear, I'm not talking about extras, which are sometimes interesting and worthwhile (but can't say I've ever listened to the commentary either). Blu-ray has an "interactive" component called BD-Live, which connects to the internet for various things, depending on the disc.

I find it to be quite pointless as well. And I think they know that , which is why most BD-Live players make you provide your own memory sticks. I guess if your some super fan boy it might be worth it, but I barely have time to watch the friggen movie much less go through all the extras. I usually watch the deleted scenes or bloopers and the previews and thats it.

I do however love my blu-ray player and I want to marry it. especially the one with the netflix live.
