Another car poll: G37 vs. 335i - Page 9

recommending an old bentley to someone shopping for a 335 is one of the weirdest things I have ever heard

BTW, I absolutely love the M series Infiniti's. This has nothing to do with the thread but I don't care, I wanted to say that.

Have you had a chance to check out the new M sedan coming out for next year. From what I've seen, it has a lot of the G sedan's styling cues, but is slightly larger and more powerful...it looks pretty good in my opinion.

Driven both extensively (I own BMW and my wife worked for Infiniti head office)

G37 is a nice car. Lovely styling.

Choice? Easy. 335i in a heartbeat.

BMW 335i without a doubt.

To be fair they are both available with a beautiful hardwood. The G37 with a lovely African Rosewood and the BMW with Walnut. I don't know why anyone bothers with the Aluminum;
Must be something equated with sportiness. For me wood all the way.

+1.....I've only seen a couple of G sedans with the wood interior, and in IMO, it's far better looking than the aluminum. In fact, I'm not convinced the BMW's interior is world's better than the infiniti.

To be honest (I'm ready to get blasted), I find the Volkswagon CC somewhat better styled than both.

The nicest 335 i've seen--Has the Sport Package(for the Sport seats and 18 in wheels). Premium Package for the Leather throughout and Jet Black exterior with the special order
White leather with touches of Black interior. I found out about the Color scheme after mine was built with the Biege interior-my second favorite. BMW has quite a few "Custom Colors". I like that alot.

The thing I liked most-of many things with BMW was the way they treated me as a customer.
I ordered from a dealer in Barrington, IL from FL on a Wed-week 50 build- before Christmas--My Car was on Production line by Friday, Paint shop Monday. All of this I could follow from BMW's website.
I was able to track it to Bremerhaven where I was able to track the ship to Charleston, then to Spartenberg, SC for Pickup and professional driver training and FUN. I was driving the 335 I ordered 5 weeks before. It was truly outstanding.

I hate the weaselly exhaust notes from the G- and FX-series. If a Ferrari was a man, and he was missing a testicle and his Adam's apple, it might sound like that. Plus, the ride in a 335 is 100% better than that of a G37.

Wow! This was fast turnaround.

Test drove both. Went with the 335i. Once you are behind the wheel you won't care if there are 10 others in the parking lot... you will know know why! Add in the covered maintenance and the decision gets easier. Honestly I thought it would be a tougher call but from a driving perspective it's no contest.

partial to the 335i ...

this was really the only choice, I am surprised you had to think about it. Enjoy your car.

G's a better "value" but clearly the 335 is the better car

I agree with this, completely. When I need just basic transportation, I look at Infiniti and the like, but when I want a higher standard of performance, then I look to BMW and MB.

This shouldn't even be a question, the 335i hands down.
