Every Christmas season, Andy Cirzan, an executive with the Chicago concert promoter Jam Productions, creates a holiday CD that contains a collection of strange and wondrous Christmas music culled from his "crate digging" for obscure vinyl. He then distributes these discs to many celebrity friends such as Robert Plant and Michael Stipe, but he also appears annually on the public radio show Sound Opinions to play tracks from his bizarre holiday collections. The show (hosted by Chicago rock critics Jim De Rogatis and Greg Kot) makes the CD tracks and cover art available as a download on its web site. Enjoy! http://christmas.soundopinions.org/
