I have a pair of slim, flat front corduroys where I have this same issue. One day, I was walking around the office and two female co-worker friends (one real hot) of mine were talking to each other. I was within earshot but they did not know that not could they see me. The conversation went something to the effect of "have you seen his package in those pants? wow!" I now wear those pants three times a week, 12 months a year.

The pants style might be accentuating a so-called figure variation, the sway back.

I could not agree more w this sentiment. Never mind having it "stand out", it is just down right uncomfortable. I have tried letting them out as far as I can, to no avail. To this day, the only flat fronts I will wear are either jeans or something ultra roomy (eg - J Press).

Also, people with the problem should check their feet.

I remembered the statement someone made regarding foot size and its, uhm, "correlation", over in the shoe size poll.
