Introducing Slim Fit Trousers by Epaulet - Page 11

Hey guys, the Walt Italian Gabardine is online... Walt Italian Gabardine Stone: $165 If you're familiar with cotton Incotex pants, then these are in a similar vein. We took the Walt 60's mid-rise slim fit and punched it out in this great cotton gabardine from Italy. The result is a lightweight cotton trouser that you can dress up or down. Although it looks kind of basic in photos, it's the fabric and cut that makes all the difference. Oh, and sorry for the delay - Rudy's will be online tomorrow. They'll be available in this gabardine fabric, tan moleskin, and navy moleskin.

BAD ASS. Oh, and our friend and part-time model came in for a pair of Red Cords and posed for a photo. They're nicely styled with a navy blazer & red gingham shirt. WHO GOT THE KEY TO THE YACHT? See full size

Actually, I do. I have a 2-inch cuff/no-break happening on the charcoal flannel and navy wool versions. My tan and navy moleskins are at the tailor shop right now getting a plain hem just touching the shoe. (Don't kill me for abusing your pants Mike I am in China right now, but I will post some pics when I get back. I am an avid Walt trouser collector.

THEY LIVE!

The "Rudy" is similar to the "Walt" fit, but with more room in the thigh and seat. Typically, if you've got bigger thighs, then you have to choose between (1) pants that are too slim to be comfortable or (2) trousers with wide legs and large leg openings that are too baggy and completely swallow your shoes. The Rudy fit strikes the perfect balance with a slim waist, a slightly relaxed thigh and seat, and an elegant, graduated taper to a slim leg opening. If you're into things like cycling, competitive rowing, crossfit, or bodybuilding - and you have a hard time finding a trouser that's both comfortable and flattering - then these are the cut for you.

We've got fourvarieties to choose from:

Rudy Tan Moleskin: $165

Rudy Navy Moleskin: $165

Rudy Italian Gabardine: $165

Rudy Charcoal Flannel: $165

Just ordered the Rudy Tan Moleskin. Can't wait to get it and hope it fits since I'm between sizes (opted to get the larger). In the future, will you be doing size 31's?

The nice thing about these trousers is that they can be taken in or let out 1.5".

Picked up a pair of Walt tan moleskins at the shop today, liked the fit even better when I tried them again at home. Great to see the store & Mike & Adele. The place was packed! Thanks for the warm welcome & good service.

Please release an ivory/almost white colored cotton version of these!

Thanks again Joel, great seeing you as always!

Hmmm, that's a good idea. A straight-up white pant might be tough, but what would you think of an an all-white seersucker? It's awesome, and has tonal white stripes. I looked at the fabric today but wasn't quite sure.

Thanks! But did you order the Rudy or the Walt? I didn't see a Rudy order come through, so I can check if something went wonky.

And yes, as Joel said, you don't have to worry too much about the waist. If you're an odd size, just order up to the next even size. Because of the medium rise, and the way that these fabrics drape, the fit isn't as sensitive as it is with raw denim or low-rise trousers. Some people get the seat taken in or let out, but I'd say most of my customers find the waist and top-block fit to be spot on from day one.

Oh, and I just came back from our trouser house. Putting together our new order now, which will be delivered around mid-April. We'll have a grey tropical wool, a grey/white Nassau seersucker, and this beauty right here:

Streaky Italian linen. This will be almost illegally elegant in the Walt fit. We'll also have a similar-colored non-streaky Italian chambray that we'll do in both Walt and Rudy.

Well, I'm sold.

Put me down for the Gray Tropical wool Walt in 32.
