It is pretty solid. Made in USA. You can't beat the quality.
If I needed a sterling silver money clip I would buy a...
I just picked this up and I am pretty pleased. Just what I expected.
I am pleased with the Bark. However, I wish it was a little darker.
A great deal for $35. Comparable to other belts in the...
I am a thin build girl with skinny hip and bums, I normally wear a size 25 in Paige denim, and thought I give the selvedge raw a try. The 24 of New Standard is too bulky in the high waist leg,...
the thing about the freestyle funk dance performers (not just casual dancers) , is they tirelessly have to come up with new stuff and be constantly innovative.
especially in a battle or face-off, you got to have a diverse arsenal in case the battle takes a certain turn or cue from your opponent, and if you just repeat your performance you basically lose the match.
that is why i respect these freestylers. i also respect the classical artists as ballet dancers and such but their repetoire are pieces they can perform over and over again with out any problem.
freestyle you have to be on your toes at all times and be 'fresh' or else you just look repeated and old.
^ I agree. The same could be said of choreography (specifically hip-hop) right now. There's been a huge influx of new dancers who have creative ways of dancing. It's become so diverse that the choreography you see one time may be overshadowed within a week's time by another choreo set. It's really hard to come up with new choreo, as well as picking songs to dance to. I can attest to that. But I like to keep one distinct goal in mind: dance can be interpreted in many ways and many movements. I certainly do not think that there has to be something eye-popping or "wow" in every performance. But my thought is not fully shared by many of the new dancers these days. Above all, musicality is essential.

It may seem that way, but classical dance is hard in its own way, because the audience expects perfection. Having to do the same thing for over 100+ years, the level of refinement is insanely high. There are also some incredible improvisers in the classical world, and a lot of new stuff in choreography, too.
The thing that impresses me most about street dancers is how they are able to consistently give a high level of performance that entertains the audience.
Where can we see these guys? Watched this with my wife on the show. Spent 20 mins online trying to figure what this concept is/ what kind of shows they're doing: without success.
Is this going to be a traveling troupe, or something else ? Thanks to those that can enlighten me and sate the Mrs.'s urge to see more of this group.

madd chadd is only a robot dancer. very limited and he is not really precise in what he does. cbeeb can dance 2 hours straight and not tire anyone watching becasue it is always going to be different. madd chadd i saw all his videos and he does the same 3 or 4 moves.
and those two above? in terms of pop locking phillip is still way more diverse then those guys. take a look at phillip chbeeb moves are very precise

Philip is not that versatile either, though. He's an illusion-based popper, he has strong isolation and hits, which is easier for an untrained eye to appreciate, but he is not really good at other styles of popping like boogaloo or tutting. All of the dancers posted are so precise, at their level, you're just comparing apples and oranges. Something that I find interesting is that cleanliness/precision can depend heavily on the clothing they wear. Some cuts and materials are a lot less forgiving than others. It's really an accomplishment to wear clothing as slim as Madd Chadd does and still present a clean illusion, and boogaloo just doesn't look smooth without the loose drapey pants. There are just so many amazing poppers, I think it's silly to say pacman is the best. I feel like that soda pop guy when I talk about this stuff, haha. Bishop Mori (seriously check out 0:25) Uniqlo x U-Min collaboration And this isn't even scratching the surface, not even tapping into the OGs who have been into it since the 70s/80s.
