The Flat Head 1001 Slim Jean - 16oz Denim for The Heavyweights It all started with the Flat Head 3001, a slim jean with a mid/low rise that turned out to be the best selling slim jean at Self Edge. The 3XXX denim on the 3001 was found to be spectacular for those looking for a great high contrast fading denim that looks great in just a few months of wear. Flat Head has now taken the 3001 and made a 16oz heavy weight version with a button fly and slightly longer inseam. We're predicting another long term hit by Flat Head here, as we've tested the newer 1XXX (16oz) denim and it's fading and aging just like it's 14.5oz counterpart. The Flat Head 3005 & Restocks

A new jean model from Flat Head has just come into the store...
The 3005 cut, which is a straight leg classic cut made of their famous 3XXX denim, now available from sizes 28 to 40.

Flat Head fine tunes their cuts into models that do exactly what they want them to. With the 3005 their aim was to introduce a classic straight leg fit jean for those that wanted a little more room in their jeans. The denim is Flat Head's famous 3XXXX which is known for it's intense fading properties including a nice vertical fade.

We also received a restock of the 1001 16oz Heavy Denim Slim Cut and the F310 14.5oz Slim Cut jeans.

The Flat Head SE05BSP Slim Tapered Jean

We're happy to introduce Flat Head's newest cut, the SE05BSP. This jean is a slim tapered cut with a button fly. This is not to be confused with the SEXFH05, which was a modified 3001 cut. This is a completely new fit, not based on any previous models.

Indigo half-arcuates, button fly, 14.5oz Japanese Selvedge Denim, tapered leg, extra thick leather tag, and a slim fit round out this new jean from Flat Head.
With the SE05BSP the jean is perfect for those looking for a slim modern cut with a small leg opening.
These run about two sizes smaller than the rest of the Flat Head line-up, size up one or two sizes from your usual size depending on how slim you'd want them to be.

Flat Head Houndstooth Madness Comes Back to Invade Your Personal Space

You cannot deny the power of Flat Head's Houndstooth shirts.. Now available in an entirely new color combination which has turned into our favorite version, Red & White.

Soft and extremely well fitting, these shirts have been a hit since we started carrying them. Keep in mind they're only produced by Flat Head twice a year, and once sold out there will be no more until the next year. The buttons are different this time around and the pocket design has been changed to a sawtooth design.
These are great for the colder months as the flannel they use is super soft and heavy and can be worn as a single shirt or as an over-shirt.

Along with the new Red & White color we got a limited restock of the White/Black and Red/Black. Flat Head Chambray Shirts and Women's Balder Jeans

Just received a shipment of a restock of two of the fastest moving items from Flat Head... The long sleeve chambray shirts and women's Balder jeans.

The famed chambray shirts from Flat Head in navy and red are the only two colors being produced this season, and they look better than ever with the snap buttons, selvedge side seam accents, and the chainstitch run-off.

After many months of waiting for the perfect slim jean for women, Flat Head comes through with the new Balder Women's Slim Jean made of their popular 3XXX selvedge denim.

These jeans introduce the newest arcuate to come from the Flat Head camp while still using the same hardware from the Frontier series including the hidden rivets, UBG zipper, and cotton poly-core stitching.

Flat Head Black Mint Shirt - Aging Differently

Flat Head has finally gotten us a shipment of the Black Mint shirt... A shirt where the fabric was developed by Flat Head and designed to age with wear but not in the traditional sense of "fading".

This shirt is made of a new fabric by Flat Head; they start out with a soft black pressed outer / brushed inner felt fabric then they silkscreen a mini grid pattern on the shirt. With wear the grid pattern wears off and leave just the black back-ground on high wear areas such as the elbows, arm pits, etc..

It's difficult to explain in words what the shirt looks like after some wear, but it's quite amazing as we've had one that has been worn in for six months on and off and it's like nothing we've seen before.

Is flat head going to come out with a jean with a larger hem after shrinking. Around 8-8.5 inches? I really like the f310 but the hem is too small for my boots and the f380 seems too baggy....

There's no way the F380 is too baggy.. that jean isn't even close to baggy, some people looking for a straight leg jean have even said that it's too slim for them..

I have to take a closer look at them then. Any idea how much the hem will shrink?

Flat Head Herringbone Button-Down - COTTON DUCK APPROVED

From Flat Head's Fall Collection comes this herringbone button down with cat's eye buttons made of a super soft woven cotton fabric.

This is a bit of a different style for Flat Head but we're liking it very much. The cut and feel of the shirt is great and the selvedge fabric detailing down the inside front and at the side seams is also a nice touch.

Cotton Duck approves this garment in every way, which is no surprise considering his taste for fine garments produced in a vintage style.
