What kind of weave/pattern does this look like?

Check out this Canali (I hope I haven't attracted bidders). I like how it looks from afar, but the upclose shots I can't tell what kind of weave this suit has. Anyone care to venture a guess? Canali suit

I'm not sure, but I think that the pattern might be refered to as "bird's eye". Whatever it is, it's beautiful, and exactly my size (except for the inseam). Don't worry, I won't steal that one away from you.

I agree: bird's eye. Get it -- it's a steal.

Wow, ended without any bids. If you were interested, I'd recommend emailing the seller and ask if it is still available. You never know, he might even let you have it for the $99 and include shipping himself.

I call that a nailhead.

I also call that a nailhead. Probably my least favorite weave

Any votes for a tic weave? I have both nailshead and birdseye suits and these seems different.

Ugly pattern

I call that a nailhead as well - definitely not my favorite. Reminds me of the eighties. And from the looks of it, this suit could've easily have been.

I thought we all wanted quality suits that would last for 20 years. In that case, that was a nice complement. Definately nailhead, but I am in the club that thinks it is an excellent buy.

Strictly speaking, it is neither a nailhead, nor a birdseye, nor a tickweave, although it resembles all three, a little. Nailhead is more regular, the dots are more "rectangular" in shape, and they are arranged in a verticle/horizontal pattern (if that makes sense). In birdseye, the dots are round, and larger than those in a nailhead, and they are arranged diagonally. Tickweave is closer to nailhead, but much finer, almost imperceptible.
Now, that is the type of attention to details, that only this forum would appreciate.
