women of crossfit - Page 2

Never done crossfit, or met a crossfitter, but after seeing a few of the videos and putting my gf on tabata db thruster and kettlebell swing intervals has caused her body to rapidly change.

Fucking gross. Remind me of girls in high school who were into rugby and went to Smith.

Except for (some of) the faces. These chicks remind me of the eastern bloc female athletes that used to compete in the summer olympics "back in the day."

I'm underwhelmed. Most of those girls don't look very girly anymore. Which is strange. I have dated a lot of athletes, and most of them had managed to be fit, have a tight body, and still look like a woman.

There are some AMAZING looking women in crossfit. Check my old athletic women appreciation thread for more info.

Crossfit sucks. The women are hot though... maybe not those ones.

Look at your local guy doing crossfit. Look at him 2 years later. He'll be doing the same weight and look the exact same. Skinny and weak.

You're an idiot. I don't do crossfit, but still, you're an idiot.

He is not the only one who holds that opinion. It is a common thread in strength training communities. If it walks, talks, and looks like a cutting program...

If most of these kind of women didn't have such crappy personalities, it'd be even better.

+1
I've known a few women who were big on working out. They looked great but were always so combative like they had something to prove in general.

Nah, I am not. I am surrounded by crossfit douche bags in my BJJ and muay thai classes. They wear their cool CROSSFIT CHALLENGE shirts and talk about their wicked snatch routine and I still outlift them and don't have to weigh 150 because I burn 2000 calories every workout.

Gotta agree with Flam on this one. You are an idiot.

Well, this is a forum. It's nice to share information and between you and Flam there is very little. Here are two articles that have some bias but appear to lean much more closely to what ZB is suggesting than either of you two.

From where I stand, even the "strength training" in Crossfit deserves to be in quotes cause it looks a helluva lot more like cardio and endurance than anything else. Your responses are so mysterious that I'm not gonna really even try to guess why you disagree.

Some bias? TNation is a bodybuilding community. They make their money off bulking supplements and whey protein. "Some bias" is an understatement. With that being said I've gotten better results from a hypertrophy-based program than a CF-based one.

Point still stands, 90% of crossfitters are douchenozzles. I'm sure its fun, but if you want to get strong, do a strength program. It has its purpose, but there are better ways to get big and strong.
