There is a middle ground though. It's good for a girl to do weights... but say once she's squatting over 135lbs. (that's a 45 on each side) things can get a bit scary. Most of the women in that brochure have hard faces and their bodies are a bit extreme. My girlfriend narrowly escapes being in this group (will do cardio for an hour eating up 700+ calories, 200 crunches, 50 squats, etc - but with low weight). I dated 2 before that I would put in this group. One was a black-belt in tae kwon do, a brown belt in another martial art, and worked out 2 hours a day (i actually met her at the gym), the other was an avid triathlete/marathoner (got 7th in la marathon when she was 25)... aside from their very sleek bodies, neither of them exuded much sexuality - they _were_ aggressive in bed, but in a way that was almost off-putting. Both well educated, the first with 2 masters degrees from Rice in Physics/Math, the other with a PharmD from USC. Neither of them had much of a life, it was all about fitness/job.
