J. Crew Merino wools sweaters quality

How is the quality of the J. Crew merino wool sweaters. I've bought BR ones over the last couple of years, and I need to mention, I no longer own them, which speaks to the quality of their sweaters (why they blend materials is beyond me). Anyways, I want to pick up some v-necks from J Crew in black, navy and dark grey. How is the quality on these bad boys? edit: Also, how is their version in lambswool?

Disposable quality. Piles after several months of use. Nonetheless, I have several of their wool/cashmere blended sweaters for daily wear.

Don't know about their Merino but probably no different than BR. Their lambswool felt thin and loose. I have some lambswool sweaters from Rugby, which is way better quality than JCrew's lambswool sweaters for this season and about the same price.

Terrible quality. Pass.

got one of their merino cardigans, a pocket seam ripped after about 3 wears

Get them from FIH. They have great merino wool sweaters that are on sale now. Excellent value IMHO.

x2?

I picked up a few Gap merino wool sweaters during the last sale for ~$20 each and I'm quite pleased with them.

Thanks Guys. Kolecho, planning a trip to NYC again this Winter? Unfortunately though I don't have V-Necks in the Merino. best I have thats similar is the three button polo's. I think I will retake the pictures of them all today but it will kill me to sell them (some) under 50 dollars :-)

Count me as another vote for FIH sweaters. A steal at the current price.

Any chance you'll be offering v-necks in the future? and at $50?

Yeah, if FIH gets v-necks I'd order from them but I don't wear crewnecks.
