I like to drink it at bars on the water. Can be refreshing in the open air. But I've never bought a six-pack or had it in my house.

It is certainly a hipster beverage. Reason enough to avoid it.

The commercials are funny as ****. If you're going to drink piss-beer...that's the best way to choose one.

Do a u-tube search on Red Stripe. If you've already had enough beer... You'll piss yourself

I'm a fan of Red Stripe but really only end up drinking it when I visit the Caribbean. My cheap drink of choice is currently Sierra Nevada.

Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale is ok. You should try any of the following to have a beer connoisseurs awakening:
  • Chimay Blue
  • Achel
  • Gouden Carolous Grand Cru
  • Moinette Bruin
  • La Chouffe (or McChouffe)
  • 't Smitje (if you can find it)

Smakelijk!

For some reason I like Chimay Red and Cinq Cents better than
the Blue. Similarly I like N'Ice Chouffe better than La Chouffe. Moinette is good; honestly though I like Duvel and Leffe blonde a bit more.

I'll give the others a try though; it has been a
while since I've tried a new Belgian. Currently I have a weakness for pumpkin brews ;-)

It costs too much to be a peasant beverage. It's for hipsters, poseurs, children, and people who have some nostalgic reaction to Jamaican beer.

is it not for jamaicans at all?

i always laugh at beer snobiety. it kills when i go to ireland where i suppose beer is not technically appreciated so much as it's just absorbed through the skin. but i die laughing when they treat budweiser as a fine import.
