Seen/Read "The Road" ? - Page 3

The movie and the book both illustrate for me the God is dead philosophy. The book does so flawlessly. I really enjoy the way these set the viewer/reader in the setting of a terminal biosphere. No matter how long you survive, the world is over. Most people have become savage in response to this and cannot fathom goodness, whereas those who "carry the fire" are maintaining compassion during the last stretch of suffering before the planet goes entirely dead.

Has Kunk auditioned yet?

A meaner-looking John Goodman would be nice. If Bruce Willis could act, he'd be a good fit too.

Large (or at least an imposing physical presence), bald, at least forty years old, convincing Southern accent
