Duke will have to play Winthrop in the first round and Louisville in the round of 32. That's a brutal opening weekend for a #1 seed. I agree though, if they can survive that they have a pretty easy run from there.

Winthrop and Louisville are tough? Pitino will be spending the entire week studying horses for his Derby picks.

Good fit, odd double chest pocket.
Even weirder was that those chest pockets were jetted ...

Fok dook!

WVA got screwed.

If Georgia Tech keeps turning it over like they did in the ACC tournament, the Cowboys will run them out of the gym.

I love Duke. The 1993 game was what convinced me to take up basketball.

That said, my Seminoles are going to lose again in the opening round.

Duke might make it to Elite Eight, but they suffer from what my high school coach called "TMWB"

Is anyone in favor of expanding the tournament to 96 teams? Would the tournament really be better if Mississippi State, Illinois, and Virginia Tech were playing in it?

This year I am completely not focused on the brackets. Too busy with school...

Seth Greenberg loves the idea.

ah-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!1

My Houston Cougars, brandishing a ferocious 7-9 record in C-USA play, somehow upset Memphis and UTEP to earn the #13 seed. I read the email from the UH alumni organization and thought it was a hoax, but unless ESPN is also in on the hoax...we're dancing!!!

At least for a little while.

Jay Bilas spitting fire on ESPN right now. He's easily my favorite bball commentator. Always prepared and always willing to take a stand on an issue.

Too bad they won't go back to the original version by David Barrett.

I'm not sure I've heard the original. I'm now curious about how it sounds, so I'll look for it.

Actually after posting that I went and listened to the original via Youtube - the one from after the 1987 Indiana title. I think it was better in my memory, it's much slower than the recent Luther version.

I guess I'll just hope that Jennifer Hudson doesn't screw it up.

Cornell even surprised me when it beat Wisconsin. Too bad Kentucky's up next, but I think if we play the best game of our lives we can do it.
