Proposal for the Adoption of a New Smiley

I hereby propose the addition of a new smiley to the arsenal: I can not count the times, in my own posting, such a smiley would have been useful and appropriate. I'm sure I'm not the only one. I encourage all to vote, but if you post to this thread, please do not do so in a manner that would see this thread moved to DT; while the nature of the smiley in question may be less than serious, this proposal is. Thank you.

How does this smiley fit into polite conversation? I can understand its use if limited to CE, but since that is not possible and almost every thread would warrant its use at some point during the scintillating conversations that occur there, there is no reason to state the obvious.

Great. SF is in dire need of another emoticon so we can increase the number of useless one-emoticon, one-word, or one-sentence replies that are 'just so fun' and 'hilarious' to read. Frankly, I'm sick of sifting through that pathetic crap intended to be witty when I'm sincerely looking for style info. I vote no, sorry OP
