Engineered Garments SS /10 - Page 8

I think I've asked this before, but I can't recall ever getting an answer. It seems as if there aren't many shops in the US that carry EG trousers. I tried like hell to track down some from the Fall/Winter collection (especially some cotton twills), but I couldn't find any. I noticed that "Drinkwaters" is only getting in one style for the Spring. Does anyone know if there's a particular reason for this?

I really wish I could find more of the bucket hats stateside. $100+ for them via a proxy is really a stretch. Liking what I see so far, however.

robin & timpo, thanks for the heads up & the pics!

I'm glad Fraiser is back, but I'm not a fan of dumpy George Clooney.

These pants seem interesting.

This Bedford is beautiful!

I can see myself tromping around SD in this plaid:

I hope the FWK options surface soon. I don't see myself wanting a whole lot, but, Gary you have a PM!

With some exceptions, the pants/trousers are not great sellers for stores.

There's one left on ebay right now if you wear a medium.

it really is a shame; eg makes some of the best pants and shorts i've ever worn. i wish more stockists in the us would carry the simpler models and colors... like khaki or green cinch pants, or workaday or intermediate chinos, or even other colors in the fatigue pants... shorts don't seem to have the same "stigma;" lots of those were available last s/s.

Odin has some on their site

Yeah, they're one of the few, and their selection is pretty limited. I bought a pair of herringbone EG pants last Winter and absolutely love them...just wish there was more out there, that's all.

I thought Chambray was big last year with jacket, and shorts added to the usual suspects, but holy shit, this year it takes it to another level; trousers, and jackets, and coats, and shirts oh my! Where is a picture of the fabled unicorn of chambray? The red morning dawn?

Hey,

Wait a minute. Are you saying that would be a bad thing because I'm old enough to be yours and I think I look great in EG.

Am I the only one that thinks the lineup looks absolutely awful? It looks like a futuristic LL Bean catalog...and not in a good way

The fit is atrocious.
