Not to my taste, but that doesn't mean anything to you. I feel that if a shoe is going to be wholecut, it should be, well, wholecut. The brogueing along the seam is just too much.

If I am not mistaken this is not tehcnically a wholecut, since there are several parts in the upper. This is a plain toe balmoral.

I do agree that I don't particularly care for the brogueing.

Not my personal choice, but there is nothing objectively wrong with the shoe. If it appeals to you, by all means make it yours.

You'll end up wearing them only to feel as though you're getting your $110 worth... which makes it money not well spent, IMO.
