Mine is 10' x 12', and it's very hard to walk around the bed without bumping into the armoire. Too compact for a big dumb guy like me.

Not sure what the size of mine is but it's just big enough for my king size bed and a dresser. Anything else and it would be pretty cluttered. Which I find funny since I have a bedroom larger then most. Just a king size bed really swallows up a apartment.

4x4m should be standard. 4x6m for a master bedroom.

I actually prefer small, austere spaces. I will adapt if I ever have children.

For me: 3m x 3m minimum. Anything smaller = study or walk in closet/storage room.

Good lord, you all must be Europeans.

Here in America, the minimum size to be considered a bedroom, in my opinion, should be at least 15'x15'.

My master bedroom is 27' x 25'.

Just paced mine out - 16'x17'. Contains king bed, two night stands, dresser, chest of drawers and plenty of walking around space. Does not include walk-in closet (11'x9') or bathroom (11'x19') which are part of the master suite.

My bedroom is 6' x 11' -- quite small. The ceiling, however, is 12'

Well, since a single bed is 39x75 inches, (a little over 3x6 feet), I'd say if you pushed it into a corner you'd need 3' off the sides for a reasonable amount of room around, putting you at 6x9 ft. Not big.

my bedroom is tiny, maybe 13' by 9'. But, I like it this way, keep play in the living room and sleep in the bedroom. I may be weird, but I find it much easier to sleep in a room separate from the TV, desk, computers, bookshelves, etc.

Had a room in college for a year that was 6.5'x9'. No roommate, though!

Something that can fit my queen sized bed.

9x9 (closet space included) is livable. Edit: For a twin-sized bed and non-SF-sized wardrobe, of course.

I have a full-size bed in my 6x11' (with a dresser at the end) -- there is basically no way to leave the bed as long as you're in the room
