None of these three sentences make any sense to me.

I don't feel telling dressed2kill to lose the fedora and get some cords or jeans is particularly the best advice.

If he wants a distinct look then telling him to dress more conventionally is not the point.

Same here - something about the post's style sounds oddly familiar though .
Anyway, I think there is some sage advice in the thread. I am almost thirty and while I have toyed with the idea of a fedora I cannot possibly see myself wearing one without looking, well, "off".

I know when I don't belong. I think the fedora lounge is just right.

Well, if you decide that FL fits your style better, good luck (I am not being sarcastic). They will be able to help you work out the exact style and size of hat that will suit your body type, also, as that is their main focus. Oh crap. 993 posts. Almost at the 1k mark.

Well have fun; at least you all can look like pretentious tools who thinks wearing laughably outdated and age-inappropriate clothing makes you unique rosebuds sporting that cutting edge fashion! Anyone know where I can find the knee breeches and powdered wigs forum? They're not ugly and unwearable, those conformists are just too out of style to appreciate them! Edit: just thought I'd add that if you really want to present yourself as some 1930's gentleman, you'd go a lot farther to take the time to communicate using proper English spelling and grammar, as I hear that was all the rage in the vintage days.

Yo, don't be hatin' on my frockcoat. Straight up Rabbi style. It's cutting edge, it's fashion, it's HOT! We'll blow last years "Derelict" collection right out of the water. By the way, I hear that it's really stylish if you speak with an Olde English accent and Capitalize random words and spell things funny like "Myce" and "Dogges." I live in Colonial Williamsburg. All of those old things suck; trust me, I know. Edit: Does anyone know of a good forum on codpieces? I was thinking of getting a cool cap and cod piece like Malcolm McDowell in A Clockwork Orange, droogs. PRISONER NUMBER 6 DOUBLE FIVE 3 2 1 ARE YOU NOW OR HAVE YOU EVER BEEN A HOMOSEXUAL?
