Why the fuck would you let anybody at work know you're getting married in the first place? You HAVE TO INVITE THE BOSSES NOW! And if the bosses are invited you have to invite some colleagues. I've heard bosses gripe when they don't get invites to one of their employees weddings. Mean disrespect.

Given the way it worded, we can all infer that the OP means that these are people who you are not friendly with such that you would invite them if you didn't work together. Or another way to look at it is if you changed jobs the day before you sent the wedding invites...how many of your old bosses and colleagues would you invite?
