The toe and sole shape look very nice. Right up the middle of the round-but-not-too-round-toe fairway.

Damn suede shoes are a bitch, wore them out for a day yesterday and (being very careful) got a few stains and even a brown colored scuff which I have no recollection of.

PG posted this image from Loro Piana a couple of weeks ago, and I can't get those suede tassel loafers out of my mind. The colour of the suede; the rather discrete size of those tassels; perfect. Most others I've seen have too prominent tassels for my liking. I imagine LP charge an arm and a leg for them (I might check out their shop on Bond St next time I'm passing just to see): does anyone know where I might find something similar?

LP claim they are made of something called "waterproof suede" - is there such a thing?

Can you tell us more about the loafers in this pic?

Won these Cheaney wingtips on eBay a few days ago.

Now to research cleaning suede while I wait for them to arrive.
