Simple visual differences: benchgrade has "open stitches" on the sole (like my Greve's) and the inner sole (if that's the correct term; where you put your foot on) consists of two parts, not one, like in a handgrade.

I wear these (the bottom pair) for a little fun on the weekend every once in a while. I was trying to adjust my camera when it unexpectedly took this picture, but I sort of like the results
