suede shoes - post 'em here! - Page 81

I figure I would post in here as you guys would know the most about Suede.

I'm looking for a pair of shoe pretty much like these:

http://meermin.es/ficha_articulo.php?id=2345

I've done some searching through the various English shoemakers and I can't come up with a wholecut oxford.

Any suggestions?

And before anyone suggests getting those shoes, they on back order for 30 days and I like to review all my options before making a decision.

thanks.

no goodyear construction, but blake.

very easy to wear them, only summer time..they are very light.

to be worn without socks with long trousers with hem that emphasizes the ankle

^^ Thanks for the info. I googled Tod's loafer, but couldn't seem to find anything with non "driving moc" soles or anything where the plug (or vamp) doesn't extend all the way to the nose of the shoe. It looks like the plug stops well short of the nose on these, and perhaps these are not driving moc soles?

Just curious,

what sort of casual look will be complimented by a pair of snuff suede captoe balmoral (no brogues)? I have owned them for a year, wearing them with jeans, but I am starting to feel that a derby design would actually look better with jeans. Are balmorals limited to suits or dress pants?

they are not driving moc...

they have leather sole, not the "gommini" one.(  tipical of driving moc)

what do you mean with plug?

this is the sole of my loafers 700
