Nice. I would happily buy Skye in suede if they were still available.

Hello gentlemen, after years of years of collecting shoes, only recently I found love for suede shoes. Here are some of my suede shoes to say hello in this thread

Officine Generale made by Sanders, they made it on the last that usually used for military boots. Suede material is the exact same suede with my Alden

left to right. Loake 1880. Edward Green Malvern. Sanders on Reverse Janus unlined, I must say they feel fragile.

Alden for Brooks Brothers on a double leather soles. What type of suede does Alden use?

Changing of the guard this week...

My beloved Sea Island Allen Edmonds loafers which have had a long fruitful life and a few years prior been moved to indoor status to live out the rest of their days are finally being permanently retired. These old blues have been extremely well used including scuba diving in ankle deep Florida monsoons and are at least 7 years old at this point, which is plenty of life for what they are.

Their replacement is a pair of MTM ZEBs (blake stitched) in dark blue suede with grey suede tassel w/ grey lambswool lining with a soft vibram lug sole and nappa piping.
